Kait grew up being very active in everything she did from volleyball, dance, gymnastics, yoga, snowboarding, and hiking. She graduated from Utah State University with her Bachelor degree in Graphic Design. Shortly after graduating, she started her own business and embarked on a whole new journey of fitness and yoga. Combining her love of travel and yoga, she began leading yoga retreats around the globe. Kait is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Assets and certified with Yoga Alliance.
Kait has always been passionate about living a balanced, healthy, and happy life. A lot of her knowledge about health and nutrition she learned while on athletic scholarship at Utah State University where she played volleyball for 4 years. Her love and curiousity grew from that which led her to her yoga training. She loves the amazing benefits yoga brings into her life on and off the mat. Yoga has brought so much love, passion, peace, balance, connection, and fun into Kait’s life. She loves being able to spread that power to her students.
Kait can always be found exploring the outdoors and taking advantage of the beautiful canyons by snowboarding, hiking, and camping. Anything with mountains and fresh air, she’s in!
She’s been super fortunate to be able to travel to 6 continents, numerous countries, and is still counting. There’s nothing like connecting with people across the globe and sharing a smile.
Kait currently resides in Salt Lake City, UT
Myckenzie is a Salt Lake City native who grew up being very active in competitive sports - her favorites being soccer, basketball, and track & field. She graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science and not only loves learning how the body moves and works, but she loves learning how to feed and nourish it through proper nutrition too.
After an injury, Myckenzie sought out new ways to sweat and that’s when she fell in love with yoga and pilates, to then become certified to teach both. She is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Scholé Yoga and is certified with Yoga Alliance; she is also a certified Reformer I Pilates Teacher through Balanced Body Pilates. Myckenzie uses her knowledge from her days playing sports, learning at the U of U and her certifications to teach Pilates, TRX, and Circuit Training classes at BURN in Salt Lake City, UT.
Myckenzie not only loves helping people grow a deeper connection with their bodies through exercise to get stronger and lead happier, healthier lives - she also has large dose of wanderlust. She loves to travel and experience different parts of the world whenever she gets the chance; and when home, she loves being outdoors, exploring the mountains in her own backyard with her two dogs Bru & Charlie.
